Developed and led by the Sustainable Flowers Research Project and The Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience based at Coventry University, this day-long learning will be a great opportunity to:

Session 1: Introduction to Plastics and Environmental Pollution

Session 2: Plastics in Floriculture and Floristry 

Session 3: In-depth Insights into Floral Foam Research

Each session includes expert insight, interactive group activity and a Q&A.

More about the tutors: 

The Sustainable Flowers Research Project at Coventry University is a knowledge exchange hub co-hosted with the University of Surrey, researching the environmental, social and economic sustainability of the cut flower industry; led by Professor David Bek at Coventry University.

The Centre for Agroecology, Water and Resilience conducts research on resilient food and water systems, climate change and environmental pressures. Dr Anna Bogush, a micro-plastics specialist, will share the lab research into plastics in floriculture.
